Efficiency

Efficiency, in every single aspect of business, has never been more critical. It has always been important but events over the last few years have shown that efficiency can no longer be periodic or project driven. The drive for efficiency must become habitual, instinctive and ever present. It needs to be an intrinsic part of each manager's approach.

The efficiency habit operates at two levels; waste of any sort is identified and eliminated, and improvement opportunities are sought out and implemented. Developing the habit is difficult, it needs a mechanism that identifies the needs and opportunities as they emerge and then ensures that the appropriate action is put in place and is ultimately effective. Ideally this mechanism should operate in the background; it should identify the underlying issues, push for a resolution, and flag where inaction requires intervention. This sort of approach will help to make efficiency a natural part of the culture in a simple, unobtrusive way.

Insata provides the mechanism that delivers this culture.
